The former nation of Novarica tore itself apart in a civil war that left both sides diminished. The Dissolution recognized two sovereign nations from the wreckage, with the Souvern obligated to make reparations northward. The Souvern Republic that followed was a valiant effort, but scarcity has a way of outlasting good intentions. The decimated economy threatened to consume the fledgling nation before it ever found its footing.

A summit at Takoda City changed everything.
